Discover Demeures & Châteaux Hôtel de la Porte Saint Malo
Demeures et Châteaux, Hôtel de la Porte Saint-Malo, is located in Dinan, in the Rance Valley, 5 minutes from the medieval centre. Anchored in the town's oldest street, this typically Breton building is ideally located for a stroll. Follow the Rue de Jerzual, the backbone of the town, back to the Middle Ages. Everywhere you look, craftsmen, painters and master glassmakers are passionately displaying their exceptional skills. The narrow streets will lead you to the Place des Cordeliers and the Place des Merciers, where the half-timbered facades tell of the echoes of yesteryear. Dinan is also famous for its Maison de l'Horloge, its English garden, its fortified castle and its imposing ramparts. Then let yourself be guided to the port, where the boats gently dance to the rhythm of the River Rance. These banks are the perfect starting point for a stroll through the countryside. Walk or cycle along the estuary, dotted with locks and charming Breton villages. You'll discover a valley with many faces. In particular, stop off at Léhon, a small town with a strong character.
Dinan is also a good base for visiting Saint-Malo, Dinard, Mont-Saint-Michel and Rennes. A beautiful escape, between land and sea!
